Yvette Marie Hollis, born in Houma, La on July 26, 1924. She entered Heaven's gates on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 92. 

At the age of 59, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined living Word Church where she was a faithful member. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her daughter, Christine Bundy; her grandchildren, Gina Brewer, Lauren Law, and Jessica Brasseaux; 10 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Delores Cloud; two brothers, Charles Chauvin and Ivan Chauvin; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Hollis; her son, Alton Falgout Jr.; her parents, Gordon and Virginia Chauvin; her sister, Una Gautreaux; her two brothers, Gordon Chauvin Jr. and N.J. Chauvin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April, 19, 2017 from 9am to 11am, with the service to start at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home, 

followed by the burial in Garden of Memories.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
