Da'Ronte "RonnieJ" Howard, 25, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Houma, passed away peacefully at 11:03 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Monday, 
April 24, 2017, at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church located at 146 Banks St. in 
Houma. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Sir'Rone Howard; daughter, Anyire' Howard; mother, 
Maryland Melissa Howard; brothers, De'Vante, Kjuan, Micheal and Kirk Howard, 
Jr.; sister, DaShonte' Howard; and maternal grandparents, Clara and Herbert 
Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Swan Jr.; nephews, Deonta and 
Damonte Howard; great-grandmother, Estelle Norman; uncle, Herbert Howard; and 
great-aunt, Mary Francois Smith.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
