Dan Paul Knoblock, 65, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. 
He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM 
in the chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home. 

Burial will be held immediately following visitation at Holy Rosary Mausoleum.

Dan is survived by his wife and the love of his life Deborah Kern-Knoblock, 
mother Alice Crochet Knoblock, son and best friend Todd Knoblock and wife 
Danielle Gaubert Knoblock, stepsons Perry “Doobie” Pellegrin and wife Jamie 
Breaux Pellegrin and Clark Pellegrin, Jr., brothers David Knoblock, Karl 
Knoblock, and Miles Knoblock, grandchildren Sophia Knoblock, Connor Knoblock, 
Brittany Pellegrin Winkler, Brandon Pellegrin, and Brice Pellegrin, great 
grandchildren Emma Billiot, Bella Winkler, and Leigh Ann Pellegrin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Knoblock.

Despite the many health challenges he faced, Dan loved life and knew how to 
squeeze every ounce of happiness out of every single day. Those people who were 
lucky enough to call him friend knew his enormous capacity for joy. He served 
as a field representative for Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society where 
he retired in 2014 after 24 years of service.
