Kevin Legendre returned home on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at 3:45pm, 
surrounded by family and close friends. 

Kevin was born in Thibodaux on September 23, 1971 to Roy and Marion Benoit 
Legendre.

Kevin was a true cowboy at heart. He loved training and riding horses with 
friends and family. He enjoyed going every Friday night to roping practice with 
his son. He loved working cattle on the weekends with his son and friends. 
Everyone that knew him knows he was there at the drop of a hat if he knew you 
needed help with anything. He was always humble and kind.

Kevin was the beloved husband, companion and best friend of Julie Madere 
Legendre, for 18 years. He was the loving father, step-father, and buddy to 
Garrett Legendre, Julien Falgoust and T.J. Falgoust. He is also survived by his 
father Roy Legendre of Chackbay, LA, his brothers and sisters Ivy (Ann) 
Legendre, Myrna (Jody) Rodrigue, Al (Rhea) Legendre, Laura (Mike) Kurkowski and 
Sharon (David) Benoit. He is also survived by his nieces, nephew, other 
relatives and many friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his loving mother Marion Benoit Legendre and his 
grandparents Clemcy Legendre Sr, Lorena Robinson Legendre, Alces Benoit and 
Mable Naquin Benoit.

A memorial visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 
Christ the Redeemer Church, Thibodaux, Louisiana from 8:30 am until the Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
