Elta M. Mahler (Ta-Ta), 91, was born November 17, 1925 and passed away April 
12, 2017. 
She was a native and resident of Choctaw, LA.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 20017 at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, 
LA from 8:00 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 
at 11:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. James Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Michael J. Mahler and his wife Cheryl; 
Grandchildren, Carol M. Delatte and husband Craig, Penny M. Kraemer and husband 
Brad, Sr., and Wyatt M. Mahler and wife Mandy. Great-grandchildren, Brad 
Kraemer, Jr., Kaylee Mahler, Tate Mahler and Chloe Delatte; and her sister 
Gertie M. Tabor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norris P. Mahler; parents, Walter J. & 
Edna S. Molaison and sister Annie Mae Delatte.

The family would like to thank Lafourche Home for the Aged and Doctors Raja & 
Gayathri Talluri for their care.

Thibodaux Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling funeral arrangements.
