Cleveland Matherne, 79 , a lifelong resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on 
April 13, 2017.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2017, at St. Louis Church from 8:30 
am until 11:00 am with a Rosary at 10:00am. The Mass of Christian Burial will 
be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Louis Church, at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his two sons, Arthur Matherne Sr. and wife Terri, Daniel 
Matherne and wife McKay; five daughters, Sarah Nelton and husband Bobby Sr., 
Rose Authement and husband Adrie, Paula Goubert and husband EJ, Jill Dupre and 
husband Paul Jr., Bonita Fontenot and husband Kevin; brother, Roy Matherne; 
grandchildren, 15; great-grandchildren, 16; companion, Myra Blanchard; .

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Matherne; father, Clay Matherne; 
mother, Emily Matherne; grandchildren, 2; .

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
