She has completed her earthly journey and now embarks on her heavenly journey to watch over her loved ones and many friends. She is survived by her son Denis W. Talbot (Wanda), Grandchildren Denis W. Talbot, Jr. (Dana), Corey C. Talbot (Catherine), Melissa Talbot Voiron (Louis), Benjamin M. Talbot (Belinda); Great grandchildren Brittani Talbot Harman (Louis), Cody Talbot, Kate Talbot Blanchard (Drake), Dylan Ordoyne, Corey Talbot, Jr., Hayze Talbot, Kacy Talbot, Grace Voiron, Maddie Talbot, Matthew Voiron and Great Great grandson Jacob Harman and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ellis W. Talbot, Jr., parents Denis J. Gaubert and Leticia Bourgeois Gaubert, brothers, Cyril Gaubert, Stewart Gaubert, Denis Gaubert, Jr., sisters Hazel Roundtree and Lily Mae Charles. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was definitely an unforgettable character and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved telling jokes, playing UNO and dominoes with her great grandchildren, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved crocheting and made many blankets and Afghans for her family. She taught her eldest Great Granddaughter Brittani how to crochet, to keep the tradition alive. She loved cooking meals for her family. She always felt that laughter was the best medicine and that was probably the reason why she lived a happy and full life. She was a fighter to the end. I especially want to thank her niece and best friend Linda Knight for always being there for her. It meant a lot to me but more importantly it meant a lot to her, whether it was playing a little video poker, drinking coffee or late night phone calls. I would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice, especially her nurse Tierney Greene “T” who went above and beyond. I would also like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and aides at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care and respect that they gave her, especially her two angels in ICU Gage Duet and Lauren Lombardo and also the therapy staff in Rehab. May God bless each and every one of you. I know that they will all have stories to pass on about her jokes and comments that she shared with them. As per her wishes a private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date. Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. ======================
