She was a native of Chauvin and a resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 9AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word Service at 11 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma, LA. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wildrow “Will” Joseph Theriot; sons, Leslie J. Theriot and wife, Sherri, and James E. Theriot and wife, Cindy; daughter-in-law, Marlene M. Theriot; daughter, Maureen T. Bergeron and husband, Rick; brothers, Samuel Pellegrin and wife, Patti, and Milka “Mitch” Pellegrin and wife, Tammy; sisters, Bobbie P. LeCompte and husband, Alvin, Gwen P. Proft, Wendy P. Jennings, and Mary Perrodin and husband, Delton; grandchildren, Kylie C. Zavadil, Brian Theriot and wife, Angelle, Jarred Arabie, Jaymi Theriot, Hannah Theriot, Allison Theriot and Melanie M. Almendarez and husband, Philip; 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, David P. Theriot; parents, Easton Joseph, Sr. and Blanche Marie Chauvin Pellegrin; brothers, Easton “Nicky” Pellegrin, Jr. and Manuel Pellegrin. She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA. She was a registered nurse at TGMC for 30 years. She was a member of the Regional Military Museum in Houma. She was instrumental in getting the original Battered Women Shelter in Houma started. She was an avid gardener. She enjoyed doing crafts, needle work, and sewing. She was a devoted wife, loving and selfless mother and grandmother, thoughtful and generous friend.
