Nolan Joseph Thibodaux, 71, native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on 
April 14, 2017.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral from 9:30 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take 
place at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Denise “Diane” Borne Thibodaux; 
children, Chris Thibodaux and wife Ann, Angela Parr and husband David, Laura 
Authement and husband Kenneth, and Darren Thibodaux and wife Rebecca; 
grandchildren, Trever Hebert, Alaina Parr, Joseph Parr, Dwayne Authement, Abby 
Thibodaux, and Myla Thibodaux; step-grandchildren, Lindsay Robichaux and 
husband Barry, and Megan Trahan; step-great-grandchildren, Rylee Pitre, Carter 
Robichaux, Alexis Celestine, and Breyona Celestine; sisters, Hazel Thibodaux 
and husband Melvin, and Lois Ridley and husband Richard; brothers, Jessie 
Thibodaux and wife Pearl, and Bruce Thibodaux and wife Peggy; sister-in-law, 
Vivian Thibodaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Younice and Jeanne Lirette Thibodaux; 
grandparents, Victor and Sidonia Thibodaux, and Thomas and Emma Lirette; 
brother, Eddie Thibodaux; and sister, Mary Ann Thibodaux.

The family would like to thank Dr. T. Gregory Chiasson, Dr. James Soignet, Dr. 
Kevin Modisette, Dr. Truett Ray, Dr. Mohammed Rais, and Thibodaux Regional and 
Cancer Center for their great care.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
