Joyce Ann Thomas, 67. A resident of Houma, LA died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 
at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Visitation will be held at Community Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma,  
LA 70360 on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 12:00 -3:00p.m.

The Life of Joyce Ann Thomas will be celebrated on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 
Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church 2709 Senator St., Houma, LA 70363. 
Visitation from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. Her service will be 
officiated by Rev. Raymond Earl Allen.  

Interment at New Zion Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her companion, Warrence Bennett. Five 
children, Thomas Smith, Jr., Denise Smith Hoard (Henry), Demietria  
Smith(Brian), Latanya Smith Shaw(Brad Lee) and Kremisha Thomas. Two sisters, 
Evangelist Sharon Calloway Montgomery (Paul) and LaTeka Stewart. 15 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Bell and Lloyd Allen and Kermit 
Henry. One sister, Linda Galmore.

The staff of Community Funeral Home is honored to serve the Thomas Family.
