Anita Ann Ledet Babin, 57, a native and resident of Chauvin, passed away at 
5:00pm on May 12, 2017.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 9am to 11am, followed by 
the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery - Chauvin.

She is survived by her husband, Leeroy Babin Jr.; children, Paul Babin and 
wife Kristie, Jennifer Henry and husband Corey, and Megan Neil and husband 
Derek; grandchildren, Khloe, Eli, and Chase Babin, Blake, Cole, and Brooklyn 
Henry, Tyler Babin, Hunter and Bentley Neil; siblings, Donna LaBauve and 
husband Kerry, Robert Ledet and wife Denise, Lori Champagne and husband Gary; 
sister-in-law, Vickie Babin; uncle, Faron Dupre; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, John Paul Henry and Anna 
Claire Henry; parents, Gerald and Nell Ledet; father-in-law and mother-in-law, 
Leeroy Babin Sr. and Clara Carlos Babin; siblings, Marty Ledet, Pamela Ledet, 
and Baby Girl Ledet; brother-in-law, Larry Babin; grandparents, Wilsey Dupre, 
Egnolia Dupre, Olivia Ledet, and Willis Ledet.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dickie Haydel, the staff with Haydel 
Memorial Hospice, and all the other physicians and medical staff for their 
care and support.
