She was a native of Donner, LA and resident of Bourg, LA. A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA beginning at 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Burial to Follow in the Church Cemetery. Clarice is survived by her Children, Myra Bascle Porche and husband Jack, Philip Bascle, and Donna Bascle Chaisson and husband Breck; Grandchildren, Susan, David, Megan, and Michael Porche, Courtney Chaisson, Samantha Breaux, and Stefanie Authement; Great Grandchildren, Nolan and Quinn Porche and Alexander Authement. She is preceded by her loving Husband Allen Bascle; Son, John Bascle; Parents, Peter Babin and Daisy Marie Himel Babin; Brothers, Dio and Lester Babin; Sisters, Lillian Bonvillian, Odette Clement, Azelda Musso, Mazel Breaux, Annette Matherne, Clara Barrois, Merlin Seuzeneau. Clarice was one of the sweetest people a person could meet. She loved gardening, quilting, and cooking with and for her family. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Alter Lady’s Society for many decades. She was a Parishoner of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bourg, LA. Clarice was a loving Mother and she will be missed by all who knew her; She will never be forgotten and always loved. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bascle Family. ======================
