James "Jimmy" P. Bourgeois, 70, of Thibodaux, passed away on May 18, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Phillis Bourgeois; children, Scott Bourgeois and wife, Leslie, and Channon Bourgeois; grandchildren, Sean Bourgeois, Chase Hale, and Amber Bourgeois; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Raydell Pitre and husband, Norris, Irene Hebert and husband, Lonnie, Sharon Domangue and husband, Ennis, Eves Bourgeois and wife, Bonnie, and Laura Tiegen and husband, Eric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Charles Bourgeois Sr. and Rita 
Maronge Bourgeois; and siblings, Jeffery Bourgeois, Wilson Bourgeois Jr., Allen 
Bourgeois, and Linda B. Gros.
