Viola Marie Bourg Bourgeois, a native and resident of Lockport, age 71, passed 
away on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

Visitation will be at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Friday, May 12, 2017 from 
9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.

Viola is survived by her daughter, Dawn B. Crotwell and her children, Chance 
Brison (Rikki), Syris and Brian; daughter Torie Hancock (Ronnie) and their 
children, Macie and Ryder; daughter-in-law, Charlene Ledet and her children, 
Ciera and Urie; step-children, Ruth Savoie, Melissa Bynum, Julia McKinney, 
Julie Aucoin and their children; 7 great grandkids and 1 great-great grandkid, 
2 brothers, 4 sisters and many others who called her Maw and Mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Bourg Sr. and Inez Chaisson 
Bourg; son, Ricky Ledet; granddaughter Chantelle Ledet; and step-son, David 
Bourgeois.
