Sylvest Peter Callahan, 83 ,a native of Dularge and a resident of Coteau, 
passed away on May 15, 2017.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, at St. Eloi Catholic Church 
from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 
Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Eloi Catholic Church, at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the St. Eloi Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife - Shirley Pierron Callahan, two sons - Keith 
Callahan, William "Billy" Bass; two daughters - Zinda B. Leonard and Phyllis 
B. Creel; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father - Orville Adam Callahan; mother - 
Eleanor Brunet Callahan; daughter - Elizabeth Boudoin; brothers - Eugene, 
Harris, Sidney and Albert Callahan sisters - Ella Marie Callahan and Margaret 
Callahan.

The family would like to thank, Journey Hospice nurses, aids and social worker 
for all help and compassion.

Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
