Barba Dufrene Champagne, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on 
Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and 
from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Falgout Funeral Home, 
Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday 
at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA 

with burial to follow in St. Mary Catholic Church cemetery, Raceland.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Champagne, Sr.; son, Franklin 
Champagne, Jr. (Sherry); grandson, Greg Champagne; brothers, Rudy, Gillis Jr., 
Teddy Dufrene and sister, Dianna Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gillis Sr. and Marie Gautreaux 
Dufrene and brother, Edwis Dufrene, Sr.

Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
