Jimmy J. Crochet, 80, a native of Hathaway, LA and resident of Schriever, LA, 
passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 
St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
be celebrated at 1:00 pm at the church 

followed by burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church cemetery in Schriever.

He is survived by his children, Burnie Crochet, Berna Dee Pitre and husband 
Pete, and Bernun Crochet; grandchildren, Lanc Crochet and Nicole Crochet; 
great-grandchildren, Aubrey Crochet and Urijah Lirette.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita F. Crochet; daughter, Bertrina 
Crochet; granddaughter, Ashle' Crochet.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS 
(Amyotrophic Laterals Sclerosis) Association at Ochsner ALS Clinic, 1514 
Jefferson Highway, 7th Floor Clinic Tower, New Orleans, LA 70121.
