Healis Joseph Duplantis, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 
The Crossing Clarity Hospice, Baton Rouge, LA. 
He was 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visitation on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Williams and Southall Funeral Home, 
Thibodaux, LA from 6pm to 8pm. Visiting at St. Luke Catholic Church, 
Thibodaux, LA from 8:00am to Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. 

Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. 

Survived by his wife,Patricia Lawson Duplantis; 1 son, Healis Duplantis, Jr.; 
2 daughters, Tina Duplantis and Deneen Stevenson; 2 sisters, Mary Rose Sims 
and Theresa Arsan; 1 aunt, Virginia Goods; also a host of nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Ervin Duplantis; 1 son, Todd 
Stevenson; 1 brother, Earl Duplantis; 1 sister, Geneva Duplantis.

Thibodaux, LA.
