Wilda Trahan Farkas, 85, a native of Chauvin and resident of Montegut, passed 
away on May 16, 2017.

Visitation Friday, May 19, 2017 from 9am until Funeral Time at 11am at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma. 

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Farkas and wife Wendy of Montegut, Michael 
Farkas of Montegut, Robert Farkas and wife Pauline of Chauvin, Perry Farkas and 
companion Anna Mae of Montegut, and Curtis Farkas of Montegut; daughters, Paula 
Fanguy and husband Joseph "Bobby" of Houma, and Lisa Gregoire of Bourg; brother, 
Wilton "Buck" Trahan of Chauvin;15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; , and 
numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Farkas; father, Alex 
Trahan, Sr.; mother, Louise Gautreaux Trahan; brothers, Alex "Prune" Trahan, 
Jr., Louis "Beb" Trahan, Willie Trahan, Horace "Gro" Trahan, and William Trahan; 
sisters, Viola T. Carrere, Wilma T. Domangue, Rose T. Martin, Margaret Trahan; .

Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
