Vivian M. Rebstock Friouyx, 95, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Galliano passed away on May 7, 2017. 

Visitation will take place on May 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor 
Catholic Church from 10 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 
am 

with burial following in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

Mrs. Vivian is survived by her daughters; Gayle Plaisance (Gerald "Jay"), and 
Roxanna Duet, grandchildren; Teena Bouzigard (Darren), Curtis Duet Jr. 
(Priscilla), and Robby Duet (Courtnay), great grandchildren; Sean and Mia 
Bouzigard, Curtis III, Tristan, and Kari Duet, Vivian Duet, and Kade Wheeler, 
and Jenny, Ken, Ryan (Amanda, Finn), and Scott Friedlander (Erin, Alex, 
Isabelle, and Kate) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Friouyx was preceded in death by her husband; Gilman A. "Shorty" Friouyx, 
parents; Victor Sr. and Lucretia M. Rebstock, son-in-law; Curtis Duet Sr., 
great grand daughter; Alli Bouzigard, two brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of The Broadway 
for the care and compassion provided.
