Joyce Kerne Ledet, 92, died Monday, May 08, 2017, at 3:33AM. 
A native and resident of Thibodaux, she was born September 25, 1924.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12 from 9:00AM until service time at 
Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM at 
the church 

with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Robert P. Ledet and wife Julie; grandchildren, 
Casey Ledet, Dawn Pruitt, Gregory Bartell; sister, Marie Bernard. She is also 
survived by her great grandchild, Braven Pruitt who was also her son at heart, 
along with her other great grandchildren, Britney Bartell, Brandon Catlett, 
Chloe' Bartell, Blake Petrolia, Beau Snyder, Brooke Pruitt; and one great 
great grandchild, Jackson Haynes; none the least a dear and sacred extension 
of our family, Savannah Jefferson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ledet, Sr.; parents, Ismael 
and Eugenie Braud Kerne; son, Herbert Ledet, Jr.; daughter, Joyce Ann Catlett; 
sister, Doris Porche; grandchild, Michelle Bartell.

The family would like to thank Maison De'Ville Nursing Home for their 
exceptional care.
