Louis “L.J.” Ledet, 71, was born on November 2, 1945 and passed away on May 
11, 2017. 
He was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 1:00 PM. 

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary “Mamie” Ledet; children, Juli 
Fields (Nelson), Jay Ledet (Cherie), and Jana Adams (Todd); grandchildren, 
Lance Percle (Megan), Linsey Percle Knight (Erin), Alissa Adams (Tyler Glynn), 
Drake Adams, Blake Alongi, and Gavin Ledet; great-grandchildren, Olivia and 
Hayden Percle; sisters, Brenda Hebert, Gail Rochel (Billy), and Donna Ledet; 
and brother-in-law, A.J. Lamartina (Donna).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Didier “Dump” and Dorothy “Dot” 
Barbier Ledet; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dominic “D.D.” and Elizabeth 
“Lizzie” Lamartina; sister, Mary Lou Ledet; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hebert.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
