Arthur "Pon" Lester Neal, 52, a native of Houma and resident of Dulac, passed 
away on May 2, 2017.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 5, 2017, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma 
from 5 pm until 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 
at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, at 8:30 pm. 

Burial will take place at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Toups Neal, mother, Marjorie Boquet Neal; 
sons, Timothy Allen (Jennifer) Neal, and Toby Arthur (Romettra "Mettie")Neal; 
brothers, Carlton "Red" (Norma Jean) Neal, Cecil (Rachel) Neal, Wendell 
(Sandra) Neal, Lawrence (Stephanie) Neal, Jr.; sisters, Elsie (H.D.) Valure, 
Irene (Robert Sr.) Henry, Julia (Raymond) Ledet; grandchildren, Trinity, 
Jayden and Kaleb; his best friend, Pongo Adam Neal.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Neal, Sr.; and brother, Allen 
Neal.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to help with funeral expenses.
