Robert Paul Rankin, 82, a native of Pelican and a resident of Houma, passed away 
on May 19, 2017.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 9am to 11am, with the memorial 
service to start at 11am, at Mulberry Baptist Church. 

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11am at Pelican Cemetery in 
Pelican, LA.

He is survived by his daughter, Candace Cecile Rankin; granddaughter, Kriss Ann 
Usie; brother, Donald Rankin and wife Margie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine DeRoche Rankin; parents, Frank 
E. Rankin Sr. and Candace J. Rankin; 4 sisters; and 6 brothers.

Paul was an U.S. Air Force veteran and worked for Terrebonne Parish School Board 
for 33 years as an administrator.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks.

Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
