Jerry Songe, 65, of Houma, La., passed away of Cancer on May 10, 2017, at his 
home surrounded by his loved ones.

Jerry donated his body to the LSU Research Center in New Orleans in hopes to 
help find a cure for Cancer.

A memorial honoring him will be held at a later date.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years Betty Songe; daughters, Vicki Usey 
(Terry) and Casey Cohn (Phil); eight grandkids; and 10 great-grandkids; two 
brothers; seven sisters; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elmore Songe Sr. and Rose 
Songe; brother, Roger Dale Songe; and three brother-in-laws, Curtis Morvant, 
Micheal Hebert, and Nolan Brunet.

Jerry loved the outdoors, cooking, and most importantly his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
