Beverly Ann Mire Stafford, 81, a native and resident of Labadieville, LA passed 
away on May 26, 2017.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Philomena Catholic 
Church in Labadieville, LA from 8:30 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will follow in St. Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Stafford, children, Lisa Ann Stafford, 
Dr. James J. Stafford (Margie), Jerome G. Stafford (Lisa), Derek John Stafford 
(Darcy); sister, Loretta M. Andry (Bert); grandchildren, Jacques, Renee, and 
John Stafford, Whitney S. Jennings and Alayna Stafford; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. J.J. Mire and Winnie Naquin Mire 
and many aunts and uncles.

She taught music for 30 years and in 2016 she was inducted into The Louisiana 
Music Educator’s Association Hall of Fame. She was a dedicated band director to 
many students in the area. She loved to spend time with her husband, children 
and grandchildren and very much enjoyed her frequent trips to the Mississippi 
Gulf Coast.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Thibodaux 
Regional Medical Center and Haydel Memorial Hospice for their care and 
compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Assumption ARC or 
St. Philomena Catholic Church.

Landry’s Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
