He was a native of St. James, LA and a resident of Choctaw, LA. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, LA from 8:00 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA. He is survived by his adopted daughter, Amanda “Nook” Molaison (Bruce); great niece, Janelle “Pokey” Ordoyne (Troy); his eyes, Dora Lee Tabor, Brent and Amber Molaison, and Trey and Michelle Ordoyne; and many godchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona “To-To” Tabor; parents, Clovis and Theresa Tabor; brothers, Jules, Phillip, Henry, Antoine “Tony”, and John Tabor Sr.; and sisters, Lillian Farace, Marie Ordoyne, Edna Bourgeois, Emily Glaviana, and Julia Pizzoloto. He enjoyed playing pedro and telling stories from the past. The family would like to thank the Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department Rescue, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, Acadian Ambulance, and friends for all of their help.
