Anita Mae Thibodaux, 73, was born on January 25, 1944 and passed away on May 17, 
2017. 
She was a native of St. James, LA and a resident of Choctaw, LA.

A visitation is being held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. James Chapel from 
8:00 AM until funeral time. A Religious Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM 
at the church 

followed by burial in St. James Chapel vcemetery.

She is survived by her children, Donna Becnel (Floyd Jr.), Cheryl Pitre 
(Roland), Amanda “Nook” Molaison (Bruce), Greta “Pie” Rose (Ronnie), Danelle 
“Grumpy” Zuvich (Donald Jr.), Janelle “Pokey” Ordoyne (Troy) and Jason “T-Fla” 
Thibodaux; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Jr., Harry, 
Clovis, andLester Tabor; and sisters, Lena Falgoust, Doris Becnel, Rosemary 
Verdin, Theresa Thibodaux, Mary Ann Babin, and Annie Huynh.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry “Fla” Thibodaux; parents, John & 
Emma Tabor Sr.; sister, Alice Simon; brothers, Lloyd and Leo Tabor, and 
granddaughter, Elizabeth Ordoyne.

She loved her family gatherings and loved cooking for them. She was especially 
proud of her Punch Bowl Cake and how she kept her house in immaculate condition.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Lafourche Home for the Aged and 
Notre Dame Hospice for their outstanding care. Also to her dear friends who 
spent many days passing the afternoon with her on her porch swing.
