Mr. Johnny Thompson, 69. A native of Dulac, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA 
died on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. 

The life of Mr. Thompson will be celebrated  on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 
First Corinthians Baptist Church 1114  Church St., Houma, LA 70360. Visitation 
from 9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

Interment at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings, Arthur J. Thompson, III, 
Peter Thompson both of Houma, LA; Ray Thompson of Slidell, LA; Jeanette T. 
Small (Samual) of Theriot, LA; Ann T. Jackson (Roy) of Atlanta, GA; Malissa 
Thompson of Houma, LA and Rosalie T. Little of Dulac, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Thompson, Jr., and Elise Mae 
Westley Thompson and one brother, Terry L. Thompson, Sr.

He was a Baptist and a U. S. Air Force veteran and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha 
fraternity. He retired from Union Oil Company and he enjoyed playing chess, 
karate, fishing and music.

The staff of Community Funeral Home is honored to serve the Thompson family.
