She resided for the last 13 years in Thibodaux, LA. Marcy is survived by son Jay A. Gauthier and wife Jessie, daughter Janice Beard and husband Joe, daughter Joye Oldag and husband Mike, daughter April Weber and daughter in law Martie (Jerry) Gauthier. Marcy was a talented singer beginning in church at the age of 3 and continuing until age 87. She sang professionally in her younger years as "Marcia Mann and her Men" in Corpus Christi, TX. She touched many lives as a self-employed tax accountant, helping many young divers and their families navigate the complicated tax laws. She loved singing, reading, playing Scrabble and UNO, watching old musicals, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and visiting with her beloved family. God and family were the most important things in Marcy's life. She was the spiritual rock of her entire family, even being credited by her grandson as having the "red phone to heaven". Her faith and strength throughout her life were an inspiration to all who know her. God has taken home a blessed angel and she will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Christian Assembly Church, Schriever, LA with a Celebration of Life service immediately following.
