Richard Joseph Clement, 86, died Monday, July 03, 2017, at 5:15PM. 
Born March 16, 1931, he was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 8:00 AM until service time 
at St. John the Evangelist Church. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM 

with burial following in St. John the Evangelist Church cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Dr. Edward Drew Clement and wife, Mary, Tammy 
Clement Blakeman and husband, Lance, Chris Clement and wife, Trudy, and Lynette 
Clement McDonough and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Megan Blakeman Frost and 
husband, Matthew, Mary Frances Clement Bologna and husband Francis, Tricia 
Clement Petrella and husband, Chase, Matthew Clement and wife, Celeste, Linden 
Blakeman Crochet and husband, Allen, Nikki Clement, Trent Clement, Richie 
Blakeman, Patrick McDonough, Brendan McDonough, and Caroline McDonough; great-
grandchildren, Logan and Camille Crochet, Emma and Kate Frost, McCoy Petrella, 
and Tate Clement; brother, Carol Clement, brothers in law, Earl Vicknair, Tony 
DeBenedetto, C.J. Gautreaux and Larry Fremin.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Marie Cavalier Clement; 
parents, Albert Clement and Lillian Bernard Clement; in laws, Edward Cavalier 
and Lily Ourso Cavalier, sisters, Thelma Clement DeBenedetto, Eula Clement 
McDonald and Emelda Clement Gautreaux, sisters in law, Shirley Cavalier 
Strader, Leatrice Cavalier Vicknair, Marion Cavalier Fremin, brothers in law 
Dickie Cavalier and Freddie McDonald.
