Delatte Sr., 90, was born on November 15, 1926 and passed away on July 30, 2017. He was a native and resident of Choctaw, LA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8:30 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Verna Tabor Delatte; children, Diana Small (Richard), Thelma Delatte (C.J.), Noah Delatte Jr. (Veronica), Tiffany Andras (Alton Jr.), and Rhonda Tabor (Rodney Jr.); son-in-law, Shorty Boudreaux; grandchildren, Sarah, Ethan (fiancé Lauren), Bridgette (Toby), Blair, and Evy; great-grandchildren, Roddy, Bettie, Raegen, and Carlee; his faithful pet, Jolie’; and sister, Susan Ordoyne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bridgette Delatte; daughters, Betty Delatte Hebert, Joanne Boudreaux, and Theresa Delatte; great- grandson, Joshua John Noah Tabor; sisters, Lena Benoit and Eula Brock; and brothers, Nore Delatte, Felix Delatte, and Ferdinand Delatte. Noah retired from Avondale Shipyard after 42 years. He loved gardening, making file’, playing and listening to Cajun French music, and cooking.
