James "Boss Man" Deseraux, Sr. departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 
his residence in Raceland, LA. 
He was 82, a native and resident of Raceland, LA. 

Visiting on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 4111 Hwy 
308, Raceland, LA from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am. 

Burial in Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery. 

Survived by his wife, Deborah Deseraux; 2 sons, James, Jr. (Lisa) and Chad 
Deseraux; 3 daughters, Phyllis, Denise and Tammy Deseraux; 14 grandchildren, 8 
great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; Also a host of nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death byhis parents, Ernest and Lorean Deseraux; 2 brothers, 
Charles and Paul Deseraux and 1 sister, Francis Deseraux.
