Duet, 86, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano passed away on July 27, 2017. A visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on July 31, 2017 from 9 am until service time. Funeral Services will begin in the parlor at 11 am with cremation to follow and scattering in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date. Mr. Heiman is survived by his brother Daniel Duet and godchild and niece Laverne Alford and nieces Nadine Prejeant and Tanya Chiasson. Mr. Duet was preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy G. Duet, son; Keith Duet, parents Wallace Duet Sr and Flavia Duplantis Duet, brothers; Wallace Duet Jr. and Kenneth "Cannonball" Duet, and sisters; Annette Lee and Thelma Lafont. Torpedo worked as a tug boat captain at Tidewater Dock for 35 years and loved dancing and listening to Cajun music.
