Ingree Theriot Guedry, 95, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed 
away on Friday July 7, 2017.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Matthews 
Episcopal Church, Houma, Louisiana from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 
11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in St. Frances de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her son, Mervyn Joseph (Carol Fournier) Guedry Jr; daughter, 
Robbie (Dan) LeBlanc; grandchildren, Rebecca Pitre and her son Brennan, 
Danette, Mervyn, Tammy, Christine, Olga, Susie, June, Sherrie; and a host of 
extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervyn Joseph Guedry, Sr.; daughter, 
Carolyn Guedry Badeaux; four sisters, Roberta Lapeyrouse, Oneita Pellegrin, 
Claudis Pellegrin, Alberta Cenac; and brother, Leroy "Lee" Theriot.

Ingree was employed by Higgins Shipyard during WWII. She enjoyed creating art, 
cooking, and was an avid fisherman. She was a Member of the Eastern Star Group.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC, West Park-Houma is in charge of 
arrangements.
