Landry, 90, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on July 3, 2017. Visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 from 9am to 11am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to start at 11am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles Community, followed by the burial St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in St. Charles Community. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bonnett Landry; sons, Paul Landry and wife Melinda, Steven Landry and wife Junnae, and Brian Landry and wife Nancy; daughter, June Rountree and husband David; brother, Carl Landry Sr.; grandchildren, Aaron Landry, Joel Landry, Christopher Landry, Ryan Landry, and Kyle Rountree; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Landry; parents, Alduce and Martha Picard Landry; brothers, Dr. Donald Landry, D.D.S.; sister, Bernice Quebedeaux. He was a retired Deacon and parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a WWII veteran; He was also a member of many clubs and organizations.
