Katherine LeCompte, 66, of Houma, passed away on July 29, 2017.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma, Bayou Blue from 8:30 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held 
on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, at 
11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.

She is survived by her two sons, Franklin LeCompte, Jr. and companion Renee 
LeBoeuf, Allen James LeCompte; five sisters, Patricia Sanchez and husband 
Robert, Kathleen Brunet and husband Theodore, Cheryl Poiencot and husband 
Virgus, Debra Bollinger and husband Kenny, Sandra Duplantis and husband Murray; 
4 grandchildren, Fantase and Frankie LeCompte, Kali-Rae and Karsen LeCompte, 1 
great-grandchild, Envy LeCompte, brother-in-law, Jimmy Toups.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin LeCompte, Sr.; father, Nolan 
Poiencot; mother, Mary Chaisson Pioencot; sister, Janet Toups.

Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
