Ludger "UJ" Lirette, 80, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Chauvin, 
passed away on July 16, 2017.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Church - Chauvin 
from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 
Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Joseph Church - Chauvin, at 11:00 am. 

Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery - Chauvin.

He is survived by his wife, Ouida Lapeyrouse Lirette; three sons, Scotty 
Lirette and wife Kathy, Ricky Lirette and companion Bonnie Soulet, Nicky 
Lirette and wife Tracey; two daughters, Patsylee Lirette Trahan, Stephanie 
Marceaux and husband Brian; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ulgier Lirette; mother, Dolores 
Pellegrin Lirette; brother, Terry Lirette; sister, Merle Bouffanie; .

Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
