MEAD, CAROL ANN 

Carol Ann Mead, 56, a native of Assumption Parish and a resident of Houma, 
passed away peacefully at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 
July 13, at Moses Baptist Church, 1032 Canal Blvd in Thibodaux. 

Burial will follow in Moses Baptist Church cemetery, Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachelle Janae Mead (Josh); brothers, Melvin 
T. Mead Jr. (Lily) and Nathan D. Mead (Sonya); sisters, Donna Johnson (Tomey), 
Marilyn Willoughby, Marvel A. Mead, Lydia Thomas, Josie Mead and Yvonne Mead; 
and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Sr. and Josephine Sawyer Mead; 
brothers, Arthur Carey and Tyrone Sawyer; and grandparents, Thomas Mead Sr., 
Vanilla Cole Mead and Amy Mack.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
