Loretta T. Ponvelle, 73, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away on 
Sunday, July 23, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at 
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA. A Mass of Christian 

Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic 
Church followed by burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Rodney Ponvelle; son, Ron 
Ponvelle; grandsons, Colby Ponvelle, Dylan Ponvelle and wife Brandy, Caleb 
Ponvelle; great-granddaughter, Zoella Ponvelle; numerous godchildren and nieces 
and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Thibodaux and Luccina Haydel 
Thibodaux; brothers, Roland Thibodaux, Robert Thibodaux; sister, Marie T. 
Bourgeois.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
