Lydre Ponvelle, 80, died Saturday, July, 01 2017. 
He was a native and resident of Thibodaux.

A visitation will be held in Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 8am until service time 
at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10am at the funeral 
home 
with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his sister Irene Ordoyne and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orestile and Melanie Pitre Ponvelle; 
brother, George Ponvelle; sisters, Georgina Ordoyne and Virgie Ordoyne.

The family would also like to thank his friends for all the love and support 
they have given him throughout his life. A special thanks to his dear friend 
Wayne "Hougie" Gauthreaux.
