Elzie Albarado Rivere, 88, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Bruly St. 
Vincent passed away on July 19, 2017.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church 
in Paincourtville from 8:00 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church cemetery in Paincourtville.

She is survived by her daughters, Arlyn Rousseau and husband, Terry and Sarah 
Dupre and husband, Alvin; son, Randy Rivere and wife, Pamela; three 
grandchildren, Lisa Abshire, Brad Rivere, and Hedi Rivere; two great-
grandchildren, Kristen Abshire and Samantha Abshire; brother, Lee Roy Albarado; 
sisters, Genieve Besson and Grace LeBlanc.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert P. Rivere; her parents, 
Fernand Albarado and Lydia Coupel Albarado; sister, Shirley Blanchard; 
brothers, Joseph and Alex Albarado.

We would like to thank the entire staff of Assumption Healthcare and Rehab, Dr. 
Keith Landry and the Sisters of Mt. Carmel for their care and compassion.
