Robert J. "Lobo" Simmons, Jr., 74, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA 
passed away peacefully on July 14, 2017.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Anne 
Catholic Church Napoleonville, LA from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian 
Burial at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery, Napoleonville, LA.

He is survived by his son, Robert J. Simmons, III and wife, Stephanie; brother, 
James L. Simmons Sr. and wife, Kathleen; grandchildren, Eris S. Mitchell, 
Robert "Bobby" J. Simmons, IV and wife, Kimmy, and William B. Simmons; great-
grandchildren, Porter Mitchell and Baby Simmons and dog, Champ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Eris Simmons; daughter, Kathryn 
"Kate" Simmons; parents, Katherine L. Simmons Clement and Robert J. Simmons, 
Sr.

He was very passionate about the Future Farmers of America, where he sponsored 
the Blue and Gold award in honor of his daughter, Kate at the Assumption High 
School FFA Banquet. He spent everyday playing bingo, doing pottery, and going 
on outings with his friends at The Assumption Council On Ageing for at least 
the last two years. Before that he spent his time working with his wife at 
Simmons Flower Shop processing flowers and working with plants as he loved 
horticulture. He loved his family, always spending time with them when 
possible.

Landry's Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
