Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, LA from 10:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at St. Louis Catholic Church beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will follow services in St. Louis Church Cemetery, Bayou Blue. Bruce is survived by his Sons, Bruce Thibodaux Jr., Bryan P. Thibodaux and wife Betty, Gordan Thibodaux; Daughters, Yvonne Thibodaux Lirette and husband Druis Sr., Yvette Thibodaux Bonvillain and husband Frank Sr., Viginia Thibodaux, Clothilde Thibodaux, Reggie Ann Thibodaux Landry and husband Jude; sister-in- law, Nancy Thibodaux; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and loving companion Navaila Fairley. Bruce is preceded by his loving second wife Elvina Hebert Thibodaux and loving first wife Frances M. Bonvillain; Brothers, Peter Thibodaux, Alcess P., Ernest, Abby, Aubrey, Luby, and Elmer Thibodaux; Sisters, Annie About, Melva Hebert, Nobby Thibodaux, Viola Guidry. Bruce was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He had a love of music and loved to play his acoustic guitar. He had a wonderful friend and music partner in Mr. Don Babin. He also enjoyed and loved his family very much. He was a man of wonderful character and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
