Verdin, 77, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and a resident of Montegut, passed away on July 10, 2017. Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue and Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 9am to 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-aux-Chenes. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, followed by the burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes. He is survived by his daughter, Norma Billiot and companion Chad Shadell; sons, Anthony "T-nee" Verdin Sr. and wife Amanda, Norman Verdin, and Raymond Verdin; sisters, Avelia Dardar, Mary Dupre, and Lorrine Dupre; brothers, Allen Verdin and Lyes Verdin; grandchildren, Lisa Chaisson, Christopher Verdin, Jeremie Guidry, Jacob Guidry, David Vedin, Anthony "Nee Nee" Verdin Jr., Brooke Verdin, Michael Verdin, Blaize Verdin, and Willie Smith; 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eveline Dardar Verdin; parents, Henry Francois Verdin and Genevieve Billiot Verdin; brothers, Ernest Verdin, Gillis Verdin, Hadles Verdin, Lawrence Verdin, and Edward Verdin; sister, Emma Verdin. He loved his animals, being outdoors, and he was a very hard worker. Samart Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements. ======================
