Phillip Weatherspoon, 66, a native and resident of Raceland, peacefully left 
this earth on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Zachary, Louisiana.

Visiting will be held from 9am until the hour of service at 11am on Saturday, 
July 29, 2017 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland. 

Burial in Morning Star Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Phyliss Duncan; sisters, Veronica 
Triggs (Oliver, Sr.) and Delores Pulphus; 11 grandchildren and 2 great 
grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Elnora and John Henry Weatherspoon; sons, 
Johnny Weatherspoon and Phillip McDowell, Sr.; 2 brothers, Calvin and Alvin 
Weatherspoon; sister, Bessie W. Washington.
