TOWSON ELLIS

Died
In New Orleans at 11 o'clock a.m. Thursday, Towson Ellis, aged 66 years.
The deceased was well known in this community, having been born and raised
in the Parish of Terrebonne, at a short distance from Thibodaux.
He was an old Confederate soldier and the members of the Braxton Bragg Camp
No. 196 U. C. V. turned out at his funeral which took place here yesterday
on the arrival of the train from New Orleans.
