George Guion Winder, brother of T. L. Winder, of Lafourche, and John B. and Van 
Winder, of Terrebonne, died recently in Texas. George was a noble fellow and his 
early demise carcies (sic) sorrow to many friends and relatives in this parish. 
He was a grandson of Felix Grundy, one of Tennessee's ablest statesmen.

NOTE: George Guion Winder is buried at Saint Johns Cemetery located in 
Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, LA.
