THOMPSON CEMETERY

From Jena, take highway 8 west turn left on the White Sulphur Springs-
Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. Just past the Church turn left on the Walter
Whatley Road, go about 2 miles just before the intersection of the Kennon
Belah loop Road turn right on the Thompson Road. Go 1 ½ miles turn left go 0.8
miles Cemetery is on the right in sight of the road. The cemetery is fenced
and well cared for. Several graves marked with native stone or iron crosses no
names or dates.
