Williams ever since I was at your house except while I was gone out west to see the children My address is Leesville, Vernon Pa, LA I expect to start out west to see my childen in about six weeks from this date I cannot tell how long I will be gone that depends on my eyes if it is not too late or too near cold weather I may try to come and see you if you receive this please wirte to me out west my address will be Troy, Bell County Texas Dear children excuse my short and unsatisfactory letter my mind is confused so I no more but remain as ever your unworthy parent John E.
